Replaced Sky with FreeSat
I got tired of paying extortionate prices for Sky and cancelled my contract of 20+ years - who cares if I can’t watch live. FreeSat sounded like the best alternative. It connected immediately and I am very happy with it. Ok I had to buy the box but, after two months, I’m in the black as I don’t have my monthly Sky subscription.

Great freeview box
Very pleased with this box. Records 4 freeview channels at the same time. Don't waste your time trying to link it to your phone as this function is no longer working. You need to change the LNB on your dish to a dual Wideband LNB and run a dual cable from it to the box.

iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, My5, Prime and Netflix are available on the 4K boxes.
Disney Plus, Paramount Plus, Now & Discovery Plus are not available

Wi fi is not needed for general use/recording. It connects directly to your Satellite dish and broadband for On Demand services and Netflix.

I can advise that most modern satellite dishes come equipped with a Universal LNB, which is compatible with both Sky and Freesat. If your Sky dish has a Universal LNB, you can simply connect it to a Freesat box.
