Easy to use and a lot smaller than the originals.
I purchased this just before Christmas because my original version has worked so well for me that it never let me down, but was getting very slow. So I updated to the new version.

Very Disappointed
I thought I would upgrade my existing Humax Freesat box to a 4k Freesat unit. On starting up it I had to do a factory reset as it locked up then found other reviews complaining about the software being sluggish which it was an issue. The 4K picture was great the software let it down and I returned the unit.

Great purchase
Great free view box.

Good but could be better.
Used this for a couple of weeks and although it is fairly easy to use the remote buttons are too small and it lacks some of the features of my previous Humax recorder. The lack of a 2 minute skip is a pain when adverts are playing as you have to fast forward all the time.
Bordaches, 65 or over
sluggish disappointment
Sluggish menus with unreliable recording this was a replacement for a buggy older Humax freesat but feels like a step back in time. Whilst much smaller than previous model menus are slow to load and nott intuitive. It comes with a strangely uncomfortable ergonomic remote that needs two hands to operate. Overall great idea poorly executed but given you have no choice the only way to watch and record freesat
