Great plugs, I have loads. I use some for non-light applications like radiators which don’t quite suit the UI but still works brilliantly

I’m disappointed with the functionality, nowhere near as good as Hive, I will soon retire these and get the Hive plugs.

Great for remote control
Excellent when used in conjunction with the Hur app, can control in times using a custom control for on/off times.

Needs a bridge but decent smart plugs, using them for Christmas tree lights and a lamp. They were tricky to Connect to Alexa though

Great for security
Purchased to operate different items while was away from home. Worked well with Hue and app, synched and updated easily.

They work, down load hue app, link to Alexa, although Alexa gets confused when they are asked to switch plug on, it does, then tells you there isn’t a connection and it’s not powered, weird

Bought these a few months ago; one to operate the newly installed spotlights on the staircase and one for the Christmas tree lights. They were easy to set up and add to our Google based smart home.

These are the most reliable smart plugs I've ever used. Very easy to set up and programme and the link to Alexa is the icing on the cake.

This item Philips Hue Smart Plug with Bluetooth - 2 Pack 206/9661 does not require a Hue bridge to work but if you would like to use the full features available a Hue Bridge would be needed.
There is a section on this on the product page if you scroll further down and click see more and where it says Upgrade to a bridge for full smart home control. The table there shows what extra features you get by adding a Hue Bridge.
