Do not buy this. Toilet rolls do not fit over the metal plate at the end. Not fit for purpose.

Very poor quality

Badly finished. The welded joints are rough and poorly coated in the chrome finish. I should really have returned this as it is very poor quality for the price. I paid for home delivery on top and needed something so I kept it. I will be looking elsewhere for a better freestanding solution

Does the job

Good item which holds plenty spares as well as the roll in use. Finish is OK. It is decent enough quality but would like a heavier item. Perfect height for the job. Heavy enough not to be knocked over easily. Only thing I'd change is the square endpiece at the end of the bar where the roll in use sits. It's awkward and would be better round, without corners.

How can you review a toilet roll holder.its much the same as all the stand alone holders. If you like the design then perches it.

Neat and doesn't take up a lot of room.

Bought this to replace a wall mounted holder. It is very neat but on the top rail where you put the in-use toilet roll, the end is too big for the roll to go over and my husband had to do a bi of filing to make it fit. Obviously, not all toilet rolls have the same size of centre. Perhaps the manufacturer should give this some consideration for future models.

Looks good but is rather clumsy!

This looks good but is not very stable. I bought two holders, this one and a black version. I had to return the chrome version because the base was badly scratched. Unfortunately the replacement was also scratched but a to a lesser degree so I have held onto it because I don't want to go through the hassle of asking for another replacement. They seem a good idea but I am going to go for wall hung holders next time.

Nice sturdy holder. Can be a little tight with some toilet rolls but that my only negative.
