About this product
Strap on the helmet, clip the buckle, and head out for your next ride knowing you've got versatile protection that adapts to your session. The Cross Full Face Bike Helmet supports safer cycling, skating and skateboarding with a convertible design that switches between half-shell and full-face coverage. Its removable chin guard detaches with a button when you need less bulk, whilst the hard shell construction and foam liner work together to absorb impacts. The dial adjustment at the back lets you fine-tune the fit as you ride.
It's designed for riders with a head circumference of 54-56cm, with dial adjustment to customise the fit. The hard PC shell bonds to high-density EPS foam for impact protection. Removable soft padding inside can be taken out for cleaning. Fourteen vents channel airflow from the brow through the helmet to reduce heat build-up during longer rides. The nylon straps adjust easily with a quick-release buckle. Suitable for cycling, skateboarding, roller skating and scooter use. Finished in blue and yellow.

Bought for my 7 year old grandson. He loves the helmet. It’s adjustable at the back but he often gets his hair caught in the turn screw. It seems to be offer good protection whilst riding fast on his bike.

I can confirm that the Cross 54-56cm Full Face Bike Helmet - Blue has a hard PC shell and high-density EPS foam along with removable soft inner padding. It is CE marked and complies with safety standard EN1078. It does not have MIPS.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cross Unisex Mountain Bike Helmet - Yellow and Blue, 52-56cm: ''As it is a bike helmet, it must comply to EN 1078 and get EU/UK PPE type examination certificate issued by EU NB and UK CAB. We have all of them.''

The Cross Unisex Mountain Bike Helmet - Yellow and Blue is suitable for head size from 52 to 56cm, it will depend on the size of your 10 year olds head. There is an adjustable buckle at the back, you can quickly adjust the size, the nylon belts are also easy to adjust.
