About this product
Battery's flat and you're not sure if it's time to replace it or if the alternator's playing up. This tester plugs into your 12V system and shows you what's going on with six LED indicators. They tell you the condition of your battery and whether your alternator's putting out too much or too little charge. Works with all 12-volt DC systems, including modern stopstart batteries. The reverse polarity indicator protects against incorrect connections, and it's compact enough to keep in the boot for when you need a quick check.
Helps you work out whether you need a new battery, an alternator repair, or just a good run to charge things up. Lightweight design stores easily in the glovebox or toolbox. Ideal for checking your electrical system before a long trip or when you notice dimming lights or sluggish starting.

Yes you can, "providing the battery is 12v and Lead Acid, AGM, Calcium or Silver type."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Hilka Battery & Alternator Tester: No. What is required is a circuit tester which we don`t currently supply.
