Best Steam Generator
A super, efficient and speedy steam generator iron. The best iron I’ve ever used. Light to handle, easy to use and irons clothes perfectly. Highly recommend.
Mrs J, West Midlands
Made ironing faster and easier
I purchased this iron as the old iron stopped working, read some review of tefal steam generator so was looking forward to buy it, purpose of this was to iron the washing load in less time so this iron made the ironing job faster, it has 2 modes {1. eco; you can use this mode to iron silk/marino/linen/ khaddar/lawn/ light cotton fabrics ect just with shot of steam, no repetition needed and in some fabric you can just iron only 1 side and not need to iron second side. 2. normal mode; with this you can iron thick cotton fabrics /jeans/bed covers/ ect especially if you are like to be very neat. thanks to tefal

Halved my ironing time and makes it a joy!
Should have purchased sooner! Such a great iron, produces an affective amount of steam and ironing is now a breeze literally!

A light weight simple to use and beautifully pressed items of clothing and bed linen.

Excellent and efficient steam generator
My older Tefal steam generator came to the end of its life, having given good service. I was slightly skeptic about this model only because it didn’t have the different temperature selection, i.e., cotton, wool etc, however, I needn’t have worried. This model does everything my previous model did and better all without needing to change the temperature selection, it happily manages silk right through to very creased linen and it’s the eco version so all in all it’s win, win.

So bad I returned it…
I returned it after a week. The new design that doesn’t allow to select the heat/fabric setting but only select the steam setting means the iron does not iron… at best it steams/stretch, at worst it dampens/wets the garments. Not sure what financial gain there was behind implementing this new ‘design’ but it wasn’t someone who needs to iron a lot and fast who had the bright idea… that’s for sure! also the (presumably safety) feature that locks the back into position forces you to have a motion forward and then towards the garment, which is totally unhelpful. Lastly, the arrangement for cord and steam connection pipe after use is awkward and more time consuming than in previous, cheaper model. Not impressed.

It should do at that price obviously they must have had issues with earlier models but they need to come up with something, I hate wires taken up extra space
Great product works really well and light work of the ironing
Hi, we can advise that this model does not have power cord storage
The Iron itself without the base is approximately 0.75-1 Kg.
We can confirm that this product is safe for all fabrics from denim to silk
Yes, we recommend to only use untreated tap water in our irons. If you know you live in a hard water area the untreated tap water can be mixed 50/50 with either distilled or demineralised water but there needs to be at least a 50% concentration of untreated tap water used in order for the steam function to work properly. Our irons are specifically made to use untreated tap water. Do not use any other water type as these contain organic waste, mineral elements that become concentrated when heated and cause spitting, brown staining, leaking or premature wear on your iron.
The product is heated from the boiler at the base of the generator. We recommend to let the product cool down.
The product can stand on its base
