Bought this from Argos as a 150GB data monthly payg. The packaging stated 50Gb but was assured when topping up it would be 150Gb. Called EE to top this up and they stated as the packaging is 50Gb that is what would be adds when topping up with £20. They offered to send me a 150Gb sim for free (with £290 top up) but I needed this today. Total con from Argos, don’t be fooled or persuaded otherwise.

Wrongly advertised
£20 for 150gb. Was given £20 for 50gb. Told the lady that incorrect. I was told it is correct what it says online that the EE packaging is marked incorrectly. I asked if she was sure. She said yes. WRONG!!

Bought to temporarily replace internet
I bought this Sim Card to replace the internet whilst my permanent internet had been switched off in error by the provider. I used my mobile phone as a mobile hotspot. It provided a great internet signal.

I can advise the following for the EE Extra Data 100GB Pay As You Go SIM Card:
This requires the top to allow the bundle to be activated. There isn't a free 100GB with unlimited texts and minuets out of the package.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the EE Extra Data 100GB Pay As You Go SIM Card: You can tether with the data, you will need a device that also supports tethering / personal wifi hotspot.

From the information we have available regarding this EE Extra Data 100GB Pay As You Go SIM Card, you can top-up and use this SIM card anyway you wish.
100GB data for the first three months, then 50GB from month four, with unlimited minutes and texts.
Offer ends 31.01.24, your SIM must be activated by this date to receive extra data.
