Wrong size
Works well, but as usual the bread is the wrong shape. All these things are square when bread isn't. Food spills out the side and back. No it wasn't overloaded.

Bought a while ago and it works amazingly and makes amazing toasties, I find you need a lot of cheese to get a stringy result but other than that good product.

grwat value for the money
this item was bought because we were not really happy with the larger flat type of toaster(the american boxer one). We are very happy with the size and the fact that it seals the contents inside the toastie. I would reccmend tbis to everyone that wants a reliable toastie machine that does exactly wgat it says on the tin!!

Hi there. The plates on this sandwich toaster are designed to accommodate standard UK bread slice sizes. However, bread slices measuring 13cm x 11cm may extend slightly beyond the edges of the plates. While this will not affect the toasting process, you might need to trim the bread slightly for a perfect seal and avoid spillage of fillings.

Small! Widthwise, a bit more than a standard loaf slice of bread turned on its side, and depth wise a bit less than a standard loaf of bread turned on its side(!!!) See my earlier comment - can nobody make a toaster that will take a proper slice of bread so that you can make a decent toasted butty, rather than the dolls-house portions that these things currently allow??
