Whoever said that this cannot be made into a blanket is giving false information! Two purchasers a little down the star ratings have said it does! Read below-
I bought this for my son for pgl it was warm and cosy. CAN OPEN OUT TO BE A QUILT if needed. Packs away small. Does everything I needed it to.

The zip would be described as on the left-hand side if you were looking at it laid out and stood at the bottom/foot end.
It would be described as on the right-hand side from the perspective of someone laying in the sleeping bag on their back.

We have these and they zip together fine to make a double. Although they are adult size they are not super roomy so the double 2x zipped sleeping bag is quite snug for two people.
