Using innovative air circulation technology combined with halogen, convection and infrared power, it cooks meals up to three times faster than conventional ovens while using 80% less oil than traditional frying methods. The generous 12 L bowl with optional 5 L extender ring provides plenty of capacity for family-sized portions.
The glass bowl lets you monitor cooking and removes easily for cleaning. With temperature control from 125 degree C to 250 degree C and a digital timer, cook crispy chips to roast chicken. Includes tongs, racks and mesh plates for cooking. Backed by Tower's 3-year guarantee.

Cracking piece of kit!
I bought this a few weeks ago for our caravan. The gas oven in a caravan is like cooking with a hairdryer so I needed something reliable that would actually cook my food! So far I’ve used it to cook pretty much every meal we’ve eaten here for the past 3 weeks! It’s cheap to run, hardly uses any electricity at all. Anything that can be cooked in a conventional oven can be cooked in this. So easy to use and the self clean function is a Brucie Bonus! So pleased I bought this, only wish I’d done it sooner 😃

It's not great!
Thought it would be ideal after reading the reviews. First air fryer I've ever bought and I'm not impressed. You still have to heat it up like a conventional oven, then the lid is awkward as it tilts, there are just 2 controls, one for temperature the other's a timer, because they are black it's hard to be accurate. It doesn't crisp any food, it just seems to warm it like a microwave, food doesn't taste any different or cook much quicker if you factor in the time to heat up first so I'll stick to the conventional oven. Returned for a refund.

I bought this smaller sized halogen oven & was worried that it might be too small. However, managed to cook a whole chicken in it with all the trimmings underneath! Also, this smaller one was cheaper so a win win!

Not great
Not as good as their previous model....push button on handle is not great if You have health problem with hand or fingers...can be quite difficult to push,top and handle become Very hot where as previous model did not.its Definitely a downgrade from Towers previous model.won't be buying a Tower halogen heater again but I used to Love the previous model...I'd Definitely buy the old model again.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Tower T14048 Vizion Halogen Airwave Low Fat Air Fryer -Black: ''Yes you should be able to cook Puri's in the air fryer however, I am sorry to say that you may not get the same results as cooking them the traditional way.
As when they are fried in oil they puff up much more and are softer.
Cooking them in the air fryer will result in a more flat and crispier outer shell.''

Yes a whole chicken can be cooked in this appliance. We would always advise to follow basic nutritional guidelines of cooking meat to the required safe temperature for the item e.g chicken should be cooked to reach at least 75 degrees celsius.
As to whether potatoes would fit as a well as a chicken, this would depend on the amount of potatoes and the size of the chicken.
