Great Suction. Lightweight
By far the best vacuum cleaner I have owned. Great value for money. Long power lead and hose means no unplugging and replugging in as I move around the house. The suction is amazing. At its max I get a workout. Emptying the dust couldn't be easier. Not too noisy for my early morning hoovering as the family sleeps.

Cheap and effective
Very difficult to change heads. In trying to do this the floor tool came apart. managed to put it back together but I will be very wary in using it.

Seems good so far, and lighter than many
I chose this because pretty-much all of the more expensive models were also heavier, and with two flights of stairs in our house, we needed it to be portable. You never really know how good these will be until they've been running a while; I had a similar model before, and parts such as the cable feeder started playing-up, but I didn't want to go super-expensive for something that weighed significantly more, so will take the gamble with this one. The dust drum capacity isn't huge, but manageable as long as it's emptied every 2-3- times it's used.

Ok, but not as expected
Non-adjustable head, only the suction strength is adjustable. Not very good for different types of floor, only carpet but still not that great. The additional tools are are also pretty useless except for the ectended tube which is actually good, the only good thing about it. You can reach a high roof without lifring the vacuum. Also it's impossible to make any returns even if you only used it once to try it out. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from argos as they make it impossible to return anything.

Only had this a couple of weeks. Have to agree with other reviewers that the slider to change from floor to carpet should have been able to do with your foot instead of having to pick the end of the hoover up to change this which is a bit of a nuisance. Hoover is lightweight great it has a long lead and the hose is good length although it is plastic. So far so good

Good daily use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hoover has a very nice long cord, making it easy to do an entire large room without having to unplug and locate plug switch. Easy to empty which is convinient m, definitely does the job brilliantly

Great power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a fact that corded Hoovers tend to provide better power. The design is reasonably compact not too large although the actual hose doesn’t necessarily store well without dismantling it. Suction is great on floor and carpets and allows you the option to switch between different surfaces. Backless, which makes it so easy to empty and seamless. Noise wise I would’ve hoped it to be a little bit quieter.

The supplier has advised the following for the Hoover H-POWER 300 Home Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner:
"This model doesn’t have a button. I would describe it as a push action to connect the tube, rather than twisting. If you prefer to have a button mechanism, you could consider one of our cordless vacuums, such as H-FREE 100."
