Create your own entertainment experience!
The Signe floor lamp is a lightweight and slim lamp which which can be controlled through an app on my phone which connects to the Philips hue bridge (or via Bluetooth). There are options to create all sorts of mood lighting, some are preset and you can add your own choices too. The room can look warm, cool, romantic etc - all through clever use of colour. I have set it to create a warming glow on colder nights. The lamp itself is a simple slim pole sitting in a small but sturdy base. It was easy to set up and connected easily and quickly to the Hue bridge. I leave the lamp plugged in and can switch it on when I am out and it’s getting dark. My daughter linked it to her Spotify account and the lights danced to the music, which she loved. There is an option to connect it to the TV and to Alexa, but I haven’t done that yet. This has become our main lamp in our TV room as we create moods to suit the programmes we are watching, which adds to our entertainment experience. Great lamp, would highly recommend.

Lovely looking light with plenty of option availab
Absolutely love this light, provides background lighting and effects. Gives the house a warm feeling. I have enabled the Alexa feature and so can control the light via voice commands. It works well with Alexa and is easy to connect. The options available through the app are limitless and you can even take a picture and it will match the colours to the light thus allowing you to create your own scene. Looks stylish and is easy to set up. The light casts a warm glow over the room.

Dynamic ambient lighting
The floor lamp has a very slim, unobtrusive silhouette and a matte black cylindrical base. Build quality is good and it is deceptively sturdy. The base has a good weight but can still be easily moved to wherever you want to create your feature zone. This is so easy to set up - plug the Philips Smart Bridge (sold separately) into a socket and connect it to your router, plug in the Philips Hue Gradient Signe Floor Lamp and download the Philips Hue app to your phone. The app will guide you through the few steps to connect the lamp to the Smart Bridge and you're ready to go. And this is where you can be creative and curate either dynamic multi-hued ambient lighting which can be as subtle or dramatic as you wish, or use the default settings to set the scene for relaxation, reading or even as a nightlight. The light emitting side of the floor lamp runs the full height of the pole section and faces towards the wall, giving a nicely diffused light, the brightness of which can be controlled via the app. The app is easy to use and intuitive. I've used the lamp in different areas of my home and I love being able to instantly change the ambiance of a room depending on my mood or the occasion. It's been a real talking point when we've had guests and they enjoy trying out the different scenes in the gallery. The speed of the colour changes, when in dynamic mode, can be speed up or slowed down and I find the changing colours very relaxing and now we're into autumn and less daylight, the colours really lift my mood. I really like that this is a statement piece of lighting that enhances the feel of my home.

Nice light - bigger than expected
Very nice light bar but it was certainly bigger than I expected - I know there's measurements given but I assumed it was a bit smaller than it actually is. I paired this with the Philips Hue bridge, which was easy enough. Not quite sure why but it doesn't give you any Scenes (pre-programmed light configurations) by default ... you have to choose any you want or create your own. Not a problem, but surprising it doesn't have some basic recommended colour patterns configured. Lamp is bright and colours are easily configured with the mobile app (connected via the hub). All in all, this is a nice addition to my living room and I'll soon be able to retire the old floor standing lamp. Can't seem to get it to link to my Amazon Alexa account so no voice control for it yet, which is annoying. Managed to get it working with Home Assistant though, so maybe I can connect it through that (long way for a shortcut) - seems the Scene's are exposed through the Room "Device" in HA.

Expensive but worth it
This is the fanciest piece of lighting I have ever owned. The fitting itself is super sleek and with its slim frame you can really place it anywhere to add a feature to your home. The amount of lighting colours and themes is never ending so you will never get bored, each time I change it I feel like I have a new light. The Phillips hue app lets you choose and set whichever lighting style you prefer and you can also explore colour styles made by Philips and other users. It is a very high priced item but if you like to change up the feel of a room then it’s worth it. I will definitely be buying more Philips lighting for throughout the rest of our home.

Very Slim Smart Multicolour LED Floor Lamp
Pros: Slim, bright, dimmable, multicolour, controlled via mobile app and voice control e.g. Amazon Alexa. Cons: Odd design, difficult to set up, only 180 degrees output, easy to tip over. The instructions supplied with this are very minimal and small print. You need to use the QR code to go to the on-line instructions. These are not much better. The lamp itself feels sturdy, being made from metal. The base has some weight to help keep it standing but is only 11cm diameter so is only good on a level flat surface. Not suitable for carpet or sloped floors. The base is 20cm tall and the light bar is 126cm so total height is 146cm. Half of the light bar is black metal so only emits light from the front half, at 180 degrees spread. This means that it is best placed in a corner or against a wall. There is no on/off switch and the lamp illuminates as soon as the mains socket is switched on. This causes the lamp to cycle through colours and then stop in a bright yellow/white illumination. No further control is possible without the Philips Hue App, which you need to install on your phone. The Hue app requires you to set up an account before you can connect to any lamps or bulbs etc. The lamp works via Bluetooth and Zigbee. The Bluetooth allows control without the Hue Bridge, but you need to be within a few metres of the lamp. With the Hue Bridge, you can use Wi-Fi from pretty much anywhere, including while away from home. The connection to the app is not very intuitive but I already have a Hue bulb so knew what to do to connect via the Bluetooth. Tip: You will need to go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and connect the lamp as a new device before connecting via the app. Once connected, the lamp firmware requires updating to enable all the fancy colour modes. There are only two animated modes (as of writing this); Fireplace & Candle. Fireplace flickers the whole bar, Candle illuminates and flickers just the upper section. There are many static multicolour modes readily available via the Hue Scene Gallery, and you can also customise. The app also lets you set on/off times as well as auto on/off when you leave the house or come home. You can connect to Alexa or Google Assistant to use voice control, but without the Hue Bridge, the voice device needs to be within Bluetooth range. I also have the Hue Bridge so I separately connected via this so I can control from anywhere and use the timer features. I would like to see a dedicated remote control to use for on/off, dimming and simple colours, so you don't need to open the phone app. The output brightness is very good and at highest setting on White, it is quite painful to look at directly. Overall, this is a nice, quirky lamp with a lot of features. I'm currently using it in my Porch to provide various types of mood lighting; There are seasonal options, such as Halloween and Christmas! The lamp is set to turn on at dusk and turn off at 11pm. I've included some photos of the lamp and the Mobile App.

Nice but it’s Luxury item
It’s a nice light and makes the room feel warm in the evenings with the glow. It’s nice that can you change the colours and brightness of the lights. You can change the colours based on moods using the app. I can see from the app there are options to connect to tv and surround sound but additional products are needed to do that. It’s a good product but I would say more of a luxury item.

Next level mood lighting
Philips Hue Gradient Signe Smart Floor Lamp : This lamp is so good, it took us little to no time setting it up as the instructions were super easy and helpful. I am a big fan of taking photos and I managed to take some nice photos of my cars as it gave a studio like impression. It also has a great range of colours to choose from so you can never get bored as each colour creates a different setting and mood. The lamp also connects to smart tv’s and has a ambient lighting feature so copies the colour on the tv and surrounds the room in the same colour. Overall it’s extremely impressive.

Smart light packed with features
Very easy to set up, we connected it to the Philips Hue Bridge via the app, quick and simple with onscreen instructions. The light is surprisingly bright but can of course be dimmed. The premise of the bar is that it can be illuminated in any combination of 3 colours from the top, middle and bottom. The app has lots of colour combination 'themes' to choose from or you can choose your own. Can also be controlled with Alexa and synced with a Spotify account. To create an entertainment feature the extra HDMI kit is required to create a dynamic lighting effect which syncs with TV etc, I don't have this but is the feature I would most be interested in. Overall a sleek and feature packed smart light.
