Suitable to collect grass clippings, rake leaves and other handy sweeping of debris.
Revitalise your lawn effortlessly with the Hyundai HY40CSC38 cordless 2-in-1 scarifier and aerator. Powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor and running on two 20V MAX 2.0Ah lithium-ion batteries, this dual-battery 40V machine delivers the performance of petrol with zero emissions and low maintenance.
Features and Performance
The machine features interchangeable drums including a steel-tined scarifier drum to clear stubborn moss, thatch, and dead matter, plus an aerator drum to slit the soil, allowing nutrients, oxygen, and water to reach grassroots.
Its 38cm (15 inch) working width efficiently clears medium to large lawns in fewer passes. A central height control lever offers 5 positions ranging from -12mm to +10mm, letting you tailor the working depth precisely.
The brushless motor ensures extended tool life, high efficiency, and quiet operation. A quick-release 45L fabric collection bag captures debris as you work to reduce clean-up time.
Weighing just 12.5kg, it features an ergonomic soft-grip handlebar and quick-fold handles for compact storage in your shed or garage. The included batteries and dual-port charger are fully compatible across the Hyundai 20V MAX garden and power tool range.
Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. Operators must always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including safety goggles/face shields, ear defenders, protective non-conductive gloves, heavy-duty anti-slip footwear, and long trousers—and keep bystanders and pets at least 15 meters away from the work area. Use the machine only on flat, dry lawns in good daylight conditions, never operating on wet ground, in rain, or on steep slopes. Always keep hands and feet clear of the rotating blades/tines, avoid overreaching, and maintain proper balance. Before carrying out any maintenance, changing between the scarifier and raking cylinders, clearing clogs, or leaving the machine unattended, always switch off the unit and remove both 20V battery packs along with the safety key.
