About this product

These disease-resistant Sweet Cardinal F1 pepper seeds produce high yields of sweet, crunchy peppers ideal for salads and fresh cooking. Suited to greenhouses, pots and sunny borders, plants reach about 1m tall and can be picked green for crisp flavour or left to ripen to a deep purple-red for extra sweetness. Sow indoors in a warm, bright spot, pot on when seedlings have two true leaves, harden off for 7–14 days and transplant with 30cm spacing. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged and feed with a high-potash fertiliser as fruits develop.Plant passport: 135813Westland Horticulture Ltd, 14 Granville Industrial Estate, Granville Road, Dungannon, BT70 1NJ, United Kingdom
