This mattress pad is designed solely for domestic bedding protection and residential mattress comfort enhancement. To prevent severe suffocation hazards, accidental strangulation, or trapped heat discomfort, always ensure the pad fits your mattress tightly and securely around all four corners without any loose, bunching, or excess fabric. Never use an adult-sized mattress pad or thick quilted topper in a baby crib, bassinet, or infant playpen, as soft bedding can easily obstruct a small child's airways and cause sudden infant death syndrome. If the pad features deep elastic skirts or anchor straps, pull them completely flat underneath the mattress edge. Always follow the manufacturer's care label closely; do not use commercial iron heat on waterproof layers, as melting plastic can catch fire. This fabric bedding accessory is not a toy; keep all long elastic straps, slippery backing layers, heavy zipper bags, and plastic retail packaging completely out of reach of children.
