The Hyundai HYC2400E is a lightweight, corded 2400W electric chainsaw designed for everyday woodcutting, from felling medium-sized trees to slicing dense logs. Equipped with a premium 16" (40cm) Oregon bar and a 15m/s chain speed, it delivers strong, reliable cutting performance for a wide range of garden tasks.
Weighing just 6.6kg, it features an ergonomic soft-grip rear handle for comfortable, controlled use over longer periods. Assembly is tool-free and quick, so you can start cutting straight out of the box.
Built for durability, the HYC2400E includes a handle-mounted cable loop to reduce tension on the power cord. Its transparent oil tank makes it easy to monitor chain lubrication, helping extend chain life. Automatic chain oiling and tool-less, one-handed chain tensioning keep maintenance simple and performance consistent.
Safety features include an electric/mechanical chain brake that stops the chain in around 0.15 seconds during kickback, plus a toughened steel spiked bumper for stability and precise cutting.
Electric-powered for low noise, easy starting, and minimal upkeep, this chainsaw is ideal for hassle-free home use—simply plug in and go. It comes with a 3-year Hyundai warranty and full UK parts and service support.

Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. Operators must always wear complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including a safety helmet with a mesh visor, ear defenders, safety glasses, specialist chainsaw gloves, cut-resistant trousers, and heavy-duty safety boots. To ensure electrical safety, use an outdoor-rated extension cord connected via a Residual Current Device (RCD), keep cables away from the cutting line, and never operate the unit in wet or damp conditions. Maintain proper chain tension—allowing 2–3 mm of play from the bar when pulled gently—and check that the automatic chain oiler is always filled with appropriate chainsaw oil. To prevent kickback, grip the handles firmly with both hands (thumbs and fingers encircling the handles), keep your body to the left of the cutting path, avoid cutting above shoulder height or overreaching, and never touch objects with the tip of the guide bar. Always test the manual chain brake before each use, engage it when the saw is not cutting, and immediately disconnect the plug from the power socket prior to cleaning, adjusting, clearing blockages, or replacing parts.
