All tools in this range use the same interchangeable battery. (Note: not compatible with 1st Gen HY21 tools.)
Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. Operators must always wear full protective equipment (PPE)—including chainsaw boots with cut protection, cut-resistant trousers, heavy-duty gloves, eye protection, ear defenders, and a hard hat where falling objects pose a risk—and keep children and bystanders at a safe distance. Proper chain lubrication and tension are critical; never run the saw dry, and ensure the chain has 3–5 mm of play from the guide bar. To prevent kickback, maintain a firm two-handed grip with thumbs and fingers encircling the handles, position your body to the left of the chain line, never cut above shoulder height, and avoid touching objects with the tip of the guide bar. Always test the manual chain brake before each use, engage it when the saw is not cutting, and remove the 20V lithium-battery pack prior to making adjustments, cleaning, clearing jammed material, or storing the unit.
