Managed to bit this in the sale at bargain price. Fab fitted jacket in gorgeous dogtooth check which is so on trend this year, looks elegant and smart with a belt through the middle or open for a more casual look with white t and jeans. So versatile, fab quality and lined.
I bought the blue pinstripe version of this in a 12 which fits like a dream. This one, not so much. The 12 was like a 10 and the 14 like a 16, massive! Very odd sizing.
Having bought the trousers I treated myself to the Blazer
The sizing is completely opposite and comes out a size smaller than average.

I bought the trousers & waistcoat first then bought the jacket when it was on offer. I had to size up as I did with the waistcoat. Really smart outfit when worn together & separately. I’ve received loads of compliments.
Absolutely love this blazer for the autumn/winter season. Looks so much more expensive than it is. It is oversized but would look great with a skirt underneath
I am pleased with the jacket, however very disappointed I couldn’t find it in store, I tried all my local ones and not so local. The matching trousers were available in store but not the jacket. I wanted to try 2 sizes and really object to ordering 2 to return at least one and wait for refund. Very disappointed with Sainsbury’s in general recently
Personally, having tried this on in store I would go for the bigger size if you are between sizes. I found the larger size was a nicer fit, no risk of gaping at the buttons etc and allowance for a light knit or thicker cotton shirt underneath when the weather turns cooler.
