I purchased one pair of these when they were at a much reduced price, they were so comfortable I bought another pair.
I am so, so pleased with these trainers. Have a pair in black, green and navy. They have seen me through most of this year. I can wear them in all weathers, all day long because they are weatherproof and so, so comfortable.
Absolutely the most comfortable footwear I have ever had, can just slip my feet into them so easily and am good to go for the day!

As a shoe width is based also on the height of the shoe as well, we do not have a standard, single width measurement. We have an instep girth and a joint girth and these are the circumference measurements for those parts of the shoe. Joint girth is the measurement round the ball of the foot, just behind the toes. (This is the widest part of a foot horizontally but not the thickest part in all cases). The instep girth is the measurement round the instep area of the foot.
For this, the size 8, these measurements are as follows:
Joint girth: 242mm
Instep girth: 254mm
The sole is wider than the shoe itself so, though it could perhaps be used as a rough guide, it would not be directly related to the functioning width of the part of the shoe the foot goes in, the upper. The tread width is 77mm.
