Some garden jobs are too heavy for a grass trimmer and too light for a full brush cutter. The Hyundai HY40CGB26 solves that by putting both tools in one machine. Powered by two 20V lithium-ion batteries running in series, the 40V brushless motor drives a 34cm string trimmer for lawn edges and a 25.5cm steel brush cutter for tougher, thicker vegetation.
Switching between heads takes seconds thanks to the split shaft design, and the included shoulder harness spreads the load for longer sessions. Three selectable speed settings let you match power to the task at hand — no wasted energy, no overworked motor.
Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. Operators must wear complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including eye protection, ear defenders, protective non-conductive gloves, heavy-duty anti-slip footwear, and long trousers—and keep children, pets, and bystanders at a safe distance. Always inspect the machine before use, ensure the safety guard is properly attached with screws, and never fit metal blades or wires to the trimmer head when in trimming mode. Operate on flat, level ground in dry conditions, keep firm footing on slopes, and maintain a safe operating distance. Use the shoulder harness with its quick-release pin to distribute weight comfortably, and keep hands and feet clear of rotating parts.
