The HYSC1800E electric grass aerator features a wide 380mm working width—60mm wider than many competitors—so you can quickly aerate your lawn, improve drainage and growth, and protect against waterlogging and disease. Ideal for small to medium lawns up to around 2000 sq ft (186m²).
Weighing just 13.6kg, it’s easy to manoeuvre thanks to robust, wide-tread wheels that protect your lawn. Foldable handles allow compact storage in your shed or garage.
With 5 adjustable heights from -12mm to +10mm, controlled by a single dial, you can tailor the finish and ensure thorough removal of moss, thatch and weeds. The powerful 1800W motor and a 10m cable provide fast, efficient performance without needing an extension lead.
A large 45L collector—almost double the size of many alternatives—gathers debris as you work, keeping cleanup to a minimum. As an electric model, it’s low-maintenance: simply plug in and start scarifying. Safety is built in, with the OPC lever stopping the machine instantly when released.
Backed by Hyundai’s 3-year platinum warranty and UK-based parts support, the HYSC1800E is built for long-term reliability.
Scarifying removes compacted soil, moss and thatch using stainless steel tines, helping your lawn breathe and absorb nutrients, oxygen and water. The lawn-raker mode lifts dead material and improves drainage, and can also tidy up leftover grass after mowing. For best results, use every 4–6 weeks between April and September.

Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. Operators must always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including safety eye protection, ear defenders, non-conductive protective gloves, heavy-duty anti-slip footwear, and long trousers—and keep children, pets, and bystanders at a safe distance of at least 15 meters. Connect the unit only to a suitable earthed mains power supply protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD) not exceeding 30mA, route trailing extension cords safely behind you using the cable strain reliever to avoid trip hazards and contact with rotating blades, and never operate in rain or wet conditions. Always operate the scarifier standing firmly behind the handles on flat, level ground using both hands, disengaging the Operator Presence Control (OPC) lever to stop the motor and blades instantly in an emergency. Store the machine in a dry, frost-free location out of reach of children, and never clean the unit using a hose pipe, water, or commercial solvents.
