About this product

The Cordless Chainsaw That Handles Serious Garden Cutting. No Cables. No Petrol. No Pollution.

Pruning established trees, cutting up fallen limbs, reducing log sections for the fire — these are not jobs for a small pruning saw. The Hyundai HY40CCS350 is a 40V cordless chainsaw with a 14" / 350mm bar, powered by two 20V lithium-ion batteries. The brushless motor drives the chain at up to 20 m/s, and the 200ml automatic oil system keeps the bar and chain lubricated throughout the cut without stopping to oil manually.

An anti-kickback chain brake provides an additional layer of safety when working around the garden. No petrol, no fumes, and no cord — well suited to tree surgery and log cutting tasks in a domestic garden setting.

Always read the user manual before use and always follow the safety instructions. Operators must always wear complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including a certified safety helmet with a mesh visor, ear defenders, cut-resistant chainsaw gloves, steel-toe boots, chainsaw-rated trousers or chaps, and close-fitting clothing—and maintain a minimum bystander safety distance of at least 10 meters. Always remove both 20V battery packs prior to assembling the 14" guide bar and chain, adjusting chain tension, cleaning sawdust, checking oil levels, or transporting the tool to avoid accidental starting. Keep the 200ml oil reservoir filled with dedicated chain lubricant to ensure automatic lubrication, and check that the chain tension allows approximately 2–3 mm of clearance from the guide bar under gentle pull. Operate the chainsaw standing firmly on flat, stable ground with both hands (left hand on the front handle and right hand on the rear handle), test the inertia-activated anti-kickback chain brake before each use, and store the tool and batteries separately in a dry, frost-free location with the scabbard cover fitted over the bar.
