The Faithfull heavy-duty insulated drainage shovel has a solid forged steel head and a Y-shaped handle. Its insulated shaft contains a solid fibreglass core with an abrasion-resistant orange polymer coating. Improved wider handle grips provide a comfortable, secure hold, while the integrated safety hand stop helps prevent the hands from slipping. Each shovel is individually tested to 10,000 volts and guaranteed to 1,000 volts. The product conforms to BS8020:2002 and is suitable for drainage and trenching work on or near live cables.
