About this product
The Dreammaker is a scientifically proven sound and light sleep aid that helps baby to sleep better by simulating ideal sleep conditions, rather than stimulating baby. Developed with a world-leading sleep laboratory and sleep scientists at Northumbria University in the UK, this unique, patent-pending sleep aid relaxes your baby, encourages them into a deep sleep and prolongs the length of their sleep. A very quiet sleep environment is unfamiliar to babies and may make it harder for them to fall asleep.
The scientific way to better sleep: Developed with sleep scientists, this sound and light sleep aid relaxes your baby, encourages them into a deep sleep and prolongs the length of their sleep.
Pink noise: Mimics the natural sounds of the womb and encourages baby to fall asleep faster, deeper and for longer as it provides them with a comforting, familiar and more natural background noise.
Red light: The soothing red light allows the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone, and is minimally stimulating so won't disturb baby (or you) once asleep.
Pulsing glow: The rhythmical pulses of soft light mimic the slow, deep breaths of baby's relaxed breathing rate which calms baby and helps them to drift off to sleep.
Intelligent CrySensor technology: The integrated CrySensor listens out for baby's cries during the night and automatically turns the device back on to soothe baby back to sleep.

Immediately wanted to return
Even just testing out the features, thought it was awful. Tried it out with the baby, and confirmed my suspicions. Returned asap. We’ve been using pink noise on our phones and was hoping to have a more permanent fixture for the nursery, but this is not the solution… the sound is so grating, like nails on a chalkboard, it set my husband and my teeth on edge. The light would wake the baby instead of help him sleep. It looks beautiful and seems promising but the whole thing was such a disappointment

Great, money saver
I purchased this as baby food prices are ridiculously high. I have saved the cost of the product within weeks of buying as my twins eat what is made for hubby and I. It has many feature to liquid, and cook. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not overly impressed
I find youtube white noise better, it isn't very loud. Plus it isn't wireless and the wire that comes with keeps falling out. The buttons are on the bottom so when u go to put it down after setting it, it turns of which is annoying when your trying to settle a baby 🤦♀️ I have given up trying to use it now after a few nights and just put my phone on YouTube and leave it put of reach. The light settings are about the only decent thing about this.

Much better products out there.
My 21 month old son has a white noise machine which we got from Amazon, and works perfect and is loud. We needed another white noise machine, and a night light for our 2 month old. So we decided to get this. Mainly because it was quicker than getting one delivered. The buttons I wouldn't say are easy to use, its not loud at all. It makes me feel dizzy in the bedroom when doing a night feed with the pulsing red light. Tbh, i've wanted to throw it out the window so many times. Having said that, it does seem to work for our baby, but I do have Alexa playing at the same time. I just can't always rely on white noise from Alexa, as that csn stop from time to time. I'm sure this product has been a life saver for many. But I think there is definetly better products out there.

Waste of money
Doesn’t matter what I do it doesn’t stay on for longer than two seconds! Also a rubbish design that it has to be constantly plugged in. Shame I already binned the box because now I can’t get a refund.

HI Maz.
This Tommee Tippee Dreammaker Nightlight and Baby Sleep Aid is suitable for use as a night light.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Yes it can, just turn off the cry sensor and it will stay on all night
Hi Abi,
Our supplier has confirmed the way in which this works is: The intelligent CrySensor technology listens out for baby’s cries during the night, then plays your choice of sound and light settings to gently calm and settle them back to sleep. After 40 minutes, if no noise is detected, the device will switch to standby mode. The device will continue to stay alert while switched on and while the CrySensor button is selected.
The cry sensor puts the unit into stand-by mode after 40 minutes (long enough for baby to settle to sleep). It then listens out for baby's cries during the night and automatically turns the device back on to soothe baby back to sleep. The idea is that if you don’t want to leave pink noise or red light on through the night, it will just come on automatically when needed.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Looby,
The Tommee Tippee Dreammaker Nightlight and Baby Sleep Aid is designed to help soothe and relax but is not designed for night terrors as they can be very different and require different treatments.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Clk500,
I can confirm that the included cable is 1.2m long. This is a USB-C connection and could use a longer lead if the one supplied is not long enough.
I hope this helps
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Maegan,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
The Dream Maker stays on unless the cry sensor is selected. If the cry sensor is selected it puts the unit in standby after 40 minutes and listens out for the babys crys during the night and automatically turns the device back on to soothe baby back to sleep. The idea is that if you don’t want to leave pink noise or red light on through the night, it will just come on automatically when needed.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Helen,
The Tommee Tippee Dreammaker Nightlight and Baby Sleep Aid does pink noise, it doesn't have a white noise option.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Neil,
I can confirm that the control buttons are underneath and they can select the different functions, so can turn on or off the light.
I hope this helps
