It is just perfect for our needs. It dries the clothes very well and the removal of the water from the door reservoir is really simple. I'm also happy about the efficiency as it has a heat pump. My only complaint is that if you want to manage it from an app, it restricted the manual functions.

Simply takes too long to dry clothes and mostly the cycle ends and the clothes are not dry. Not good enough it's also extremely loud and bangs

Awesome tumble dryer
I bought this tumble dryer at the start of December and it has made my life so much easier rather than having to lug the washing to the laundrette. Multiple settings for different loads.

Poor performance
I bought this model specifically because it has a reverse cycle and had great reviews. Iāve tried several different programs now, there isnāt a specific reverse cycle button and none of the cycles appear to completely dry a full load meaning I have to dry twice or sometimes 3 times. It may be that Iām using the machine wrong but other than a limited information manual, nothing I can find online explains clearly how to set the correct program. If I put sheets on a full load on the driest setting they just tangle and donāt dry on the inside of the bundle. If I put them on a shirt cycle which appears to be the only reverse action setting, the cycle time isnāt long enough so they need two drys. Also the dryer isnāt close to my router so I canāt install the remote control app which I hoped would have more instructions.

The machine will implement a 10 minute cool-down stage on all cycles at the end but there isnāt exactly a cool programme.The closest match would likely be a synthetic/delicates cycle as this will have a reduced temperature profile and therefore will likely be more appropriate.

I have looked through the Candy CSOE H9A2DCEB-80 9KG Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - White and Black Product Information Sheets and can find no difference between either the Weighted Annual Energy Consumption (kWh/year) - both 259 KWHr/year or the Energy consumption of the standard cotton programme at full or partial load - again both 2.16 KWHr and 1.16 KWHr respectively for the white and black machines.
