The Candy CSOE H9A2DCEB Heat Pump Tumble Dryer has a 9kg load capacity and comes with 14 programmes, including 4 clever sensor dry options and a Timed Drying function. Perfect for a medium sized family, this dryer has been designed with style and practicality in mind. The heat pump technology reuses any hot air that is normally lost to dry your load, making a heat pump dryer nearly twice as efficient a condenser dryer.
Featuring clever Sensor Dry technology, this product allows you to set the level of dryness you require and the dryer then switches off automatically when this level of dryness has been reached. Choose from Store Dry, Hang Dry and Iron Dry! This not only takes the best care of your garments, but also saves time, avoids over-drying, and is kind on bills, using just the right amount of energy.
This dryer comes complete with Wi-Fi Technology, so you can connect this machine to the Candy app using your smartphone or tablet. This will allow you to download additional programmes, monitor cycles and run diagnostics checks on the machine.
Easy Case is a unique, patented water reservoir built right into the tumble dryer's door. The ergonomically designed Easy Case makes it easy to see when the water needs emptying and has a convenient handle, making it easy to remove for emptying.

Takes too long to dry clothes
Simply takes too long to dry clothes and mostly the cycle ends and the clothes are not dry. Not good enough it's also extremely loud and bangs

I bought this tumble dryer at the start of December and it has made my life so much easier rather than having to lug the washing to the laundrette. Multiple settings for different loads.

Poor performance
I bought this model specifically because it has a reverse cycle and had great reviews. I’ve tried several different programs now, there isn’t a specific reverse cycle button and none of the cycles appear to completely dry a full load meaning I have to dry twice or sometimes 3 times. It may be that I’m using the machine wrong but other than a limited information manual, nothing I can find online explains clearly how to set the correct program. If I put sheets on a full load on the driest setting they just tangle and don’t dry on the inside of the bundle. If I put them on a shirt cycle which appears to be the only reverse action setting, the cycle time isn’t long enough so they need two drys. Also the dryer isn’t close to my router so I can’t install the remote control app which I hoped would have more instructions.

The machine will implement a 10 minute cool-down stage on all cycles at the end but there isn’t exactly a cool programme.The closest match would likely be a synthetic/delicates cycle as this will have a reduced temperature profile and therefore will likely be more appropriate.

I have looked through the Candy CSOE H9A2DCEB-80 9KG Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - White and Black Product Information Sheets and can find no difference between either the Weighted Annual Energy Consumption (kWh/year) - both 259 KWHr/year or the Energy consumption of the standard cotton programme at full or partial load - again both 2.16 KWHr and 1.16 KWHr respectively for the white and black machines.
