Nice cast iron dish
When l ordered this cast iron dish l hadn't looked for a size, silly me, l thought it would be bigger than it actually is, but still it is useful for making a small spag BOL or stir fry chicken.

Very nice product, took a while to season (need to be patient) but works wonderfully once it's well seasoned. Omelettes and pancakes all come out nicely with a few drops of oil.

Bought this skillet to make flat breads, more than happy with it. Use it most days. Great for tarte tattin.

Does the job
Bought for making Tarte Tatin, ideal size for most online recipes (to serve 6), it works. Although not clear from the specification the inner surface does have some kind of non-stick coating so only non scratch implements should be used. This may also be why instructions say hand wash only (not a great imposition, it was very easy to clean)

Solid pan
This pan is solid and holds the heat well. Good value, especially if you want a pan that will last. My only complaint is with its weight. Its really quite heavy, and handles remain very hot after cooking.

Hello there. The Habitat 20cm Small Round Cast Iron Oven Dish is also 'Good to go on any hob' so this can be used to cook either on the hob or in the oven. I hope this helps.

The Habitat 20cm Small Round Cast Iron Oven Dish, can be used on electric, gas, ceramic, induction, solid hotplates and halogen Hobs. It is not suitable for the Dishwasher.
