My 12 year old son loves scootering with them on.
Got these for my son just turned 12 and he loves these for scootering at the skate park. The knee pads get a lot of action but he also wears elbow pads just in case. Wrist guards never get used as he prefers gloves. Great quality and great fit. Adjustable to suit older kids as well.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Zinc Heavy Duty Bike and Scooter Protection Pads: 'The front padded part is approximately 130 x 190mm for the knee pads and 110 x 170mm for the elbow. The back panel is a stretchy material and has two velcro straps.'

The heavy duty protection pads should fit a 12 year old - the cups are fairly big and the pads can be adjusted with velcro straps
