All AVF TV Wall Brackets are designed to work with TVs that do not have flat backs. We provide a wide range of different screw lengths and spacers to help avoid any raised parts on the back of certain TVs. Some TV Manufacturers also require the use of extra Wall Mount Adapters, which would have been supplied in the box with the TV. These should be listed in your TV instructions/setup guide. The AVF Standard Tilting Up to 55 Inch TV Wall Bracket is very close to the wall so you may find that you have the same problem. We do supply a ranges of lengths of TV screws and some spacers which would allow you to get a bit more gap between the wall and the TV to allow it to tilt easier. However we would recommend taking a look at the AVF Superior Tilting 32 - 65 Inch TV Wall Bracket (940/4803) which has a bigger gap between the wall and the TV allowing for better tilt.
