This is my second kettle of this range unfortunately the first (5years) developed a lot of limescale due to the hard water in my area and was very difficult to remove so had to buy a new one capacity is good and you can boil little amounts safely finish is good as well

The heating element is concealed inside the kettle itself, not in the separate base. The base simply provides the electrical connection to power the kettle.

The internal base of the kettle, where the water comes into contact, is made from food-grade stainless steel. The inner walls are made from BPA-free plastic. All materials used in our kettles comply with relevant food safety standards and regulations.
