The Argos Home Aspley Double Wooden Bed Frame gives you a solid base for restful nights and lazy weekend mornings. It's built with a sturdy solid pine frame and slats that hold their shape through years of daily use. The headboard sits high enough to lean against with pillows when you're reading or having breakfast in bed. A low foot end lets you tuck duvets in neatly for a tidy finish. The warm grey colour works with most bedroom furniture and styles, so it fits in without clashing.
The wooden slats spread weight evenly across the frame and support your mattress without sagging. There's 22.5cm space underneath, so you can hoover or store flat items like suitcases. The frame holds a maximum user weight of 220kg, making it stable for two people. Assembly takes two people and comes with clear instructions. Part of the Aspley collection, so you can match it with other pieces. Comes with a two year manufacturer's guarantee.

Sturdy bedframe
I bought the king-size bed frame ,it was fairly easy to put together and appears to be very sturdy, good quality and with sturdy slats that support well. The only thing I have found to fault is that if you're not careful you can knock your legs on the base legs as you walk around the bed. With a thick duvet and cover it should solve this,hopefully. Overall, it's a lovely bed and very reasonably priced.

Good value at a reduced price
Good sturdy single bed and looks good. A mistake in assembly instructions regarding fixing the top rail to the headboard. Can’t be done with the small tool indicated -impossible. I used my small Bosch screwdriver with the necessary result. Each wooden slat is screwed in separately again useful to use a small screwdriver if you have one. Makes the bed sturdy.

Badly damaged
Headboard came smashed and was a pain to get a replacement from argos for just the headboard, they expected us to build it for now (we needed a bed as we had got rid of our old one the morning of the delivery) use it for a few days then dismantle the entire thing to give back to the drivers who brought the replacement and build again! We finaly managed to get them to just let us have the head board replaced but was a lot of hasstle. Also screws are awful quality, one snapped in the slat and was impossible to remove, just had to screw next to it Sorted now and bed is ok and feels solid for now but very cheap shoddy materails

Looks lovely
I bought this a few weeks ago. It is very stable and matches with the furniture perfectly. It did take a couple of hours or so to put together and I would suggest having an electric screw driver, but the instructions were fairly easy to follow.

Poor Quality
Purchased this recently. Wouldn't recommend. Wood has two different tones of white, top bar of headboard not finished properly, other small areas also not finished properly, 2 bright yellow spots on the wood ( one in headboard). Fiddly to put together as a couple of the holes dont seem to be deep enough where bolts go. Poor quality and disappointing. It does have 'sturdy' going for it as a positive.
