The Argos Home Aspley Double Wooden Bed Frame gives you a solid base for restful nights and lazy weekend mornings. It's built with a sturdy solid pine frame and slats that hold their shape through years of daily use. The headboard sits high enough to lean against with pillows when you're reading or having breakfast in bed. A low foot end lets you tuck duvets in neatly for a tidy finish. The warm grey colour works with most bedroom furniture and styles, so it fits in without clashing.
The wooden slats spread weight evenly across the frame and support your mattress without sagging. There's 22.5cm space underneath, so you can hoover or store flat items like suitcases. The frame holds a maximum user weight of 220kg, making it stable for two people. Assembly takes two people and comes with clear instructions. Part of the Aspley collection, so you can match it with other pieces. Comes with a two year manufacturer's guarantee.

Nice style, feels pretty solid.
This was bought to replace a similar bed that I had bought some 17 years ago and I can only hope this one lasts half as long.. it is pretty well made and solid and feels secure. Instructions were clear and it was easy enough to put together. It looks good and I am glad I bought this replacement, as I needed some room in my bedroom and this small double has granted me that.

Attractive, but some assembly issues
Very pretty grey Habitat bed, simple design and very good value. Nice to be constructed from wood (FSC certified). The assembly design is not great though, so do not expect IKEA simplicity. Examples: The brackets for the central strut that runs under the mattress are asymmetric, but the instructions do not identify which way round they go. Pilot holes for these are not quite level with each other. The strut is also placed so that the support legs, under the centre of the bed, do not touch the floor (!) so we are going to have to pack those. No pilot holes on the strut itself meant it was really quite awkward to screw in the screws from underneath to attach it to the end brackets, as required by the instructions. All in all, it's a cheap bed that is lovely to look at, but some tweaks could really improve ease and success of assembly.

Lovely design but delivery is too long
I bought the double bed frame a year ago and wanted a matching king size for another room. Compared to the purchase last year, the paint finish is extremely thin and you can see the timber grain quite easily through I like the clean design and assembly is easy. However, the delivery time was four weeks and on opening, I discovered damage to the frame, so I've another 4 week wait ahead of me for the replacement. Faintly ridiculous in this day and age.

Sturdy stylish white king size bed frame, not too high with our chunky expensive mattress, enough room for under bed plastic storage probably 6-8 of them width ways, great headboard pillows no longer disappear giving you worse neck pain, took hubby about 2hrs to put together alone, 1 thing is we keep knocking our knees/legs on the bottom of the bed the chunky part, not the beds fault more likely our smallish bedroom, great with 20% off.
