It's a traditional country style that brings warmth to your bedroom with its natural oak-stained solid wood. The headboard and foot end feature turned finials and edge detailing for a timeless look that suits most bedroom styles. Four built-in drawers underneath make the most of often-wasted space, ideal for storing seasonal linens, blankets and clothes. The drawers sit on metal runners, so they glide open and close smoothly when you need them.
The fixed solid wood slats provide support and keep the frame durable for comfortable sleep night after night. The frame sits low at just four centimetres from the ground, which helps keep things stable and secure. It's designed for two people to assemble together, with all fixings included. Solid built
This bed comes in two well packed boxes but they are heavy so check drop damage to the box on delivery. Building of the bed does take time and I would recommend not to rush it. Allow 4 to 5 hours. When built it is solid and it looks good. The drawers work very well on proper steel runners with no sticking or jamming going on. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a wooden bed frame with 4 working drawers

Looks nice, however not so easy to assemble with the little spanner; not a good idea. "Argos", You need to change it bolts the same as used on the headboard.

Very nice bed.
Easy to assemble and strong once built. Along with a Emma mattress it is very comfortable. About the only negative I could find ws the draws are quite small. They could have been a lot bigger. But only tasked up half the space available. It is a small grumble. The drawers work really nicely. Overall it's a great bed.

Complete shambles!
Ordered bed frame online- upon receiving item, there were some screws/bolts missing. There were no spare available, therefore this bed was collected and a new one delivered. Upon receiving the new one, this also had some parts missing. A further delivery was organised- for the parts to be replaced- today the delivery lorry arrived and they reported upon checking the lorry- there were no replacement parts there! They had no idea why. After all this - I then cancelled my order and asked for a refund. Disgusting service. I will be making a formal complaint.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Emberton Single Wooden Bed Frame - Pine: There is no specific recommended mattress depth provided, but based on the product’s structure, the distance from the slats to the top of the footboard is 303 mm.
Therefore, the recommended mattress depth would be less than this, so the mattress does not exceed the total height of the footboard.
