Decent, but too lightweight
I bought these a few weeks ago and have used them many times now. They are decent pans, look good, and wash easily. Water does get trapped in the handle, but it's easy enough to unscrew the handle, dry inside, then put back together. But the biggest issue for me is that they are VERY lightweight. On my spider bur hob, they wobble terribly and do not sit securely. I've never experienced that before with any previous pans. It's especially disappointing as I bought these pans primarily to make jam in, but sugar work in these pans could prove lethal. I will still give it a try, but only on the back hobs so if they spill I will be less badly burned. I would happily recommend these pans for if you have a flat hob. But if you have a spider bur hob with dogs or kids in the house I would avoid - the pans are just too wobbly.

Great set of pans
Bought these as a replacement for some old scratched teflon pans. They're light and so easy to strain with the holes in the lip of the lid. The handle is fine to hold as long as it's not been near another hob that's on (then it gets a bit hot). Love to glass lid do I can see the bubbles before then escape the pan.

Having checked I can see the base will be slightly smaller as the bottom of the pans curve inwards.

The Russell Hobbs 3 Piece Stainless Steel Pan Set, are 100% stainless steel. The 5 pan set 849/4900, it is only the frying pan that has the non stick coating. The 3 pan set does not include the frying pan.
