Great cleaner.
I’m so happy with my vax, it really dos dry quick and it made my carpet look like new, I do think once u have used it you need to use it regular to keep your carpet looking good.

Stopped working within 2 days
We used this once to test it and were pleased with the results. A couple of days later we needed to use when coffee had been spilt, unfortunately the machine wouldn’t work. Tried all normal tests to get it going but sounded as though the motor was stuck. Was replaced quickly so will see how long this one works.

A bit disappointed
Not overly happy with this product. The build quality is quite poor - things just don't fit together very well. The biggest issue is the nozzle section at the front. It fits poorly and requires significant force to remove and refit. The nozzle is poorly designed anyway as it continually blocks with any residual dust from the carpet and so is not very efficient at removing water. Carpets are left quite wet. The automatic dry function is a good idea but is implemented poorly it takes too long to start drying on the back stroke. In a small room this leaves a damp patch at beginning and end of the pass. I'll keep trying with it but at the moment I'm not very happy with this purchase.

This is the best carpet cleaner I’ve had, it makes cleaning your carpet as easy as vacing it. It has a dry only function which is great for making sure the carpet is as dry as possible. And it’s so easy to clean after use it can be cleaned perfectly no areas are too hard to clean and putting it back together after cleaning is effortless. Great product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

it does a decent job drying , all auto , forward wash /back to dry, and the shampoo is good also thats auto fed as well, but somehow i got musty smelling carpets , thats using vax shampoo as well , so was happy but not so now

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vax Platinum Smartwash Upright Carpet Cleaner:
I can confirm the machine does not have any sort of a heating element to it. However, it will suck up a lot of the water to the point that it will only take a few hours to dry once completed, especially during the summer in warm weather.

Having checked the instructions, it advises:
The machine should be in the upright position when using the hose and tools; this will de-activate the brushes. To avoid saturating the carpet, do not use more than 4 wet strokes over any one area. Always end with dry strokes (trigger released).
