Clear fitting instructions.
I appreciated the clear instructions re fitting the pole and that all the fixings were included. It looks good and seems sturdy.

Make sure you have tools available
Bought 2 of these. Check thoroughly that both halves of pole are straight before commencing or take back immediately! The joining double headed screw for joining the two halves is hopelessly inadequate the holes were mismatched on both poles I purchased and I had to redrill accurately and remake I joining rod to maintain strength and integrity of the pole. All said, perhaps I was just unlucky. Once completed the poles look superb. For a 3 meters pole they are cheap for a reason, Proceed with ware and check thoroughly before starting… maybe I was just unlucky?

Looked good but too fat for eyelet curtains
Looked good, but be warned, standard eyelet curtains will not slide on a pole this thick. I had to purchase a 22cm diameter one to replace

Curtain pole
I bought this curtain pole a couple of weeks ago and it is now up and functioning. I was pleased with the aesthetics and found it straightforward to install. It is quite a thick pole as advertised which is good and although the rings are a snug the curtains draw nicely

Nice curtain pole at a good price
Nice pole, easily fitted . The rings were a little stiff when opening and closing the curtains but a little soap run on the pole sorted it.

This Argos Home 3 m Wooden Curtain Pole comes in 2 sections with a fixing screw to hold the two 1.5 m poles together. The poles can be cut to suit a smaller window width. Please ensure you measure carefully, though, as once cut it will not be possible to return the product.
