A Neat Choice
I’ve been looking for wooden curtain poles to replace my metal ones. The metal ones do not join smoothly; there’s a bump and the eyelet curtains judder on it. Also the metal eyelets make an irritating clanking sound against the poles when the windows are open and the wind blows. The wooden ones are smoother and there’s no noise of metal against metal. Also the white wooden ones I chose are more in keeping with the style of my rooms.

Good value for the price and does the job well. The pole looks clean and simple once up, and the 300cm length is great for wider windows. Installation was straightforward enough, though you do need to make sure it’s properly supported due to the length. Feels sturdy once fitted, but not the most premium finish. Great quality, good value for money and looks great. The only downside is the screw to join the two halves together isn't big enough so the pole isn't sturdy

Really poor quality
Really poor quality. Connection between the two poles is wonky and weak. Scratches and a ready poor finish. Had to use alternative screws as the ones provided were weak and would not go into the wooden beam. The groves also were easily damaged by the screwdriver. Would not recommend.

Quality and price v good.
Great price and perfectly decent quality. Could not find a white 300cm pole for less than £50 anywhere and some didn’t even come with rings. Very pleased.

Purchased this item for hanging some new curtains. Found this one on the website, ordered it in the morning and collected from my local store that afternoon. Easy installation and looks great. Good quality item for the money

Good long pole, faulty filial
Quite pleased overall with my purchase, good to have the long- enough pole that was needed. Looks ok. Only gave 3 stars as one of the filials split on one side when it was fitted ( not able to return or raise issue with Argos, due to need to leave it in- situ).

This Argos Home 3 m Wooden Curtain Pole comes in 2 sections with a fixing screw to hold the two 1.5 m poles together. The poles can be cut to suit a smaller window width. Please ensure you measure carefully, though, as once cut it will not be possible to return the product.
