Good product, hut fixings are a little naff so suggest using your own plugs/screws.

Nice white pole
This pole is perfectly adequate for hanging curtain s fitted with pole holes. Some people say the joiner isn’t strong enough and the poles don’t line up. The lining up doesn’t matter as the join will be sitting with the curve of the central bracket and completely hidden. Also the joint doesn’t have to be strong as said beforie it is housed within the central bracket. Found its best to wax the top of the pole to aid sliding. If you got electric robot slider to remotely control the curtains,do not wax the bottom of the pole.

Absolutely dreadful
This comes in two parts. The joint is terribly manufactured. Holes weren't central at all, the supplied double ended screw is not up to the job. I put the curtains on and the pole sagged in the centre. Had to buy another one from somewhere else. Avoid wasting your money.

Poorly made…
Comes in two half’s which you join together with a dowel screw. However the pre drilled holes in the ends of the poles are not aligned and not central !!,. Consequently you end up with a wonky pole. Had to purchase wood glue to join poles together.Far from ideal

Yes, the Home White Wooden Fixed Curtain Pole - 240cm can be cut to size. As this pole is supplied in two 120cm sections, make equal cuts on each of the outer section of the poles which will then be covered by the finials, otherwise the centre joint would be offset.

I can confirm the pole length is 2.4m without the finials. Each Finial measures 7.5cm.

The supplier has advised the following for the 2.4m Wooden Curtain Pole - White:
This helps strengthen the attachment of the brackets to the wall. You should drill the wall horizontally. The two pre-drilled holes on wood bracket are not at a 90 degree angle. There is slight angle of about 10 - 15 degrees because the material it's made of, pine, is soft wood. The bevelled angle design is to increase the grip force of the wood bracket.
