The Faithfull heavy-duty insulated cable laying shovel is designed for cable laying work on or near live cable. It features a solid forged steel head and Y-shaped handle, with an insulated shaft made from a solid fibreglass core and abrasive-resistant orange polymer coating. The wider handle grips support a secure hold, while the integrated safety hand stop helps keep the hands positioned safely. Each shovel is individually tested to 10,000 volts and guaranteed to 1,000 volts. Conforms to BS8020:
