Dji mini se2 battery power house of a technology
Dji battery can be expensive but unfortunately dji technology isn't cheap, this battery allows me to fly for at least 25 mins consistently, great power investment I've managed to have three of these batteries without them I wouldn't have a drone it's the lengthy fly time that gives me the confidence to fly and the brand name DJI

It’s a battery. It powers a drone.
It’s the same kind of price as direct from DJI, and it does the job. On that’s basis, I can be recommended.

Extra flight time ahead
It’s a pity that despite the stated flight times, it feels impossible to achieve them so a spare battery is kinda must (no doubt DJI know how to make us spend a bit more). Have been holding off getting a second battery for my mini 4K but after noticing a few other online shopping sites seemingly stop having any official ones stocked I felt ‘now’ I should. It’s an official battery, threw it in drone and whilst had a little pre-charge I let it charge up fully then took drone out for quick flight and no issues. Only negatives is you can’t charge it without plugging into drone and thru-charging OR buying the battery dock (or a third party accessory). Then there’s the price of the ‘smart’ battery, guess I shouldn’t complain as was same price as the other places I had seen it.

Wrong item
The battery in the box was the wrong one despite having the correct number on the box, had to return for a refund, very inconvenient.

Useful spare battery
As these batteries don’t last long, it’s really handy to have a spare for a quick swap in the field.

It can be carried in hand luggage not in hold luggage. Ive taken mine away several times now, no issues.
Hi Sta,
Thanks for your query about the DJI Mini 2 Intelligent Flight Battery.
I cannot give an exact answer as this can depend on the individual Airlines as to their own policies as well as the current internationally agreed regulations and and local laws in each country. (These are matters on which we cannot claim to be legal experts though so any advice here must only be taken as general advice only, a rough guide with which you can look into matters further with more authoritative sources).
It does look like, subject to the above points and caveats, this will very likely be OK to transport in your hand/carry on luggage or on your person but not in baggage going into the hold. It may be subject to checking and approval to do so by the airline though and they'd be free to refuse it. It will also depend on the condition of the battery and how it is being stored/carried on board. We'd always advise that you check with the individual airline on whether it'd be OK prior to your flight with them.
The small print
It is illegal to fly a drone or model aircraft between 250g-20kg that does not show a valid operator ID. You must pass the drone test and register with the CAA before you fly at https://register-drones.caa.co.uk. For further information visit: https://dronesafe.uk/
