Solid bed
I bought this bed last week. I had to get my daughter and her partner to put it together as I couldn't. But I am really pleased with it, very comfortable and sturdy. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely looking bed
Good value for money and looks great as a guest bed with room for some storage under the bed. Definitely a 2-person job to put together as it’s a bit awkward in places- as other reviews say don’t fully tighten screws straight away when putting the main frame together or things don’t fit, but once you figure that out it goes together fine.

Great bed
Bought this for our 6ft 3 son for when he’s home from uni. A bit dubious on the quality but it’s been great. Easy to put together and he’s found it really comfortable. Great buy!

Bought 2 one after another
Quite difficult to assemble with 1 person. Do do tight head board too tight too early. The instructions is not very clear. You need to fit the small joint metal first to stable the two half beds. Otherwise,it will not crew in. In the end , complete it in 2 hours from my experience. Qualy is really good given the price on sale.

The Argos Home Kristopher Double Bed Frame does require the centre leg for stability and strength. If the central leg is not installed then the bed may fail to provide the strength to hold the metal slats correctly and could fail.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Kristopher Single Bed Frame: There are two legs in the corner of Headboard and Side Panel, Headboard thickness is 37mm and Side Panel thickness is 22mm.
The other two legs in the corner of Footboard and Side Panel, Footboard thickness is 25mm and Side Panel thickness is 22mm.
