Great cutter
Great, difference depth of cut but single speed so some item don’t slice so well, also slanted so first couple slice not that great. Otherwise very good, strong and sturdy and quiet heavy

Did not meet expectations
I bought this item to use for the Xmas/ new year meats which I normally would hand carve.i was expecting it to cut evenly and accurately which it did not.Having been a former provision’s manager I thought this machine would be useful.To my dismay I was very underwhelmed with its performance, reviews I had read stated the blade to be very sharp, I did not find this to be the case, slices were uneven and totally unacceptable in presentation, no matter how slowly the meats were cut. The holding device for the joint to be sliced was inadequate causing the joint to move as it approached the blade.Considering the price of this piece of equipment I would not recommend, I will continue to use my carving knife
