Good value but poor build quality let's it down
This unit was bought a couple of months ago.and although it cooks and heats up well the overall construction isn't brilliant. The basket supplied is supposed to sit squarely on top of the heating elements. Unfortunately the centre element is slightly higher than the two outer element which allallows the cooking wire basket to rock or pivot on the centre element thus forcing the basket to sit out of level.immersion of the food ie chips,if the basket is filled to maximum then some chips may not be sufficiently immersed to cook thoroughly. The basket requires constant shaking and adjusting to ensure that this doesn't happen. Not major problem but a nuisance and needless if the build quality was better.

Not recommended
I bought this 2 weeks ago, sorry I did, basket is not level in oil, cooks alright on one side of basket but the other half is out of oil.

I'm so happy with this product.Heats oil quickly, cooks to perfection, crispy, golden brown, cooks throughly through meat leaving it succulent and not dry,I've cooked onion rings, hulimie chip, southern fried chicken and doughnuts plus much more.easy to clean and store.I would definitely recommend this product.

RE: Slick Design
Hi folks, Great appliance for what it is. Cooks chips for between 1 - 3 diners. Chips tasted wonderful. Perfect design and size for a regular kitchen. Only downside is that a light fatty aroma is distinguishable the next. Best, Paul David Seaman

Semi pro chip frier
A great little chip frier just the job, makes great chips.only one problem i find is the chip basket sits on top of the element making it rock a bit, would be a bit better if the element was made to sit further down, the basket to fit not so far down
