The Adam Truro fire Suite is a freestanding suite that is the perfect focal point for your room. The accompanying Eclipse fire is supplied with a coal fuel bed and produces a heat output of 1kW-2kW.

Looks nice
I bought this thinking it was fully assembled as it states in some of the replies to people's questions, and all we have to do apparently was slot the fire in place, NOT so! It comes in NINE pieces not including the actual fire which came in a separate delivery the next day. There's nothing to hold the fire in place. It's best you decide where you're going to place it before assembled and as near to that place as possible because it's a nightmare to move and with the flimsy fixings it just comes apart. Fir it to be flat to the wall you need to take out the skirting board (I also had to take out a dado rail) but then there's still a gap because of the cable! I gave it 4 stars just because it "looks" nice! Gives a lovely glow when switched on, doesn't make as much noise as some electric fires and it is warm, costing around 54p per hour. The heat also comes out of it downwards so at least the carpet is warm!!

Chrome bars are "chrome" tape!
This fire is OK for the price, though the front bars being just metallic tape not even sprayed plastic is a bit cheeky. BUT, much of packaging was cardboard with polystyrene stuck to it, so very difficult to recycle. Shame on you Argos....

The plug comes from the left hand side of the fire if looking at it from the front.

The supplier has advised the following for the Adam Truro Electric Freestanding Fire Suite with Eclipse:
"The fireplace can sit up against the skirting board but this will leave a gap between the wall and fireplace. If the customer does wish to have this fit flush to the wall then the skirting board would need to be removed."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Adam Truro Electric Freestanding Fire Suite with Eclipse: ''we don’t advise customer to plug the fire in behind the surround as the plug would need to be accessible in case of an emergency so we would advise them to have it plugged in to the side of the fireplace.''
Assembly will be around 20mins.

Its NOT fully assembled! It comes in 9 pieces and it took me half an hour to put together, but its quite simple.
