The Birlea Phoenix Double End Lift Ottoman Bed makes the most of tight bedroom spaces by combining a place to sleep with generous hidden storage underneath. It's built with a sturdy wooden frame and a sprung slatted base that provides natural bounce and adjusts to body pressure for comfortable support. The oak finish brings warmth to contemporary bedrooms, and the included rubberwood headboard completes the look without needing separate purchases. Gas pistons make lifting the base smooth and manageable, so accessing the 854-litre storage space doesn't require heavy effort.
The wooden slats provide firm, long-lasting support for your mattress and work with the sprung base to maintain comfort over time. End-opening access means you can tuck the bed against a wall and still reach stored bedding, luggage or seasonal clothing easily. Nice looking bed and good storage but the size of the king size frame is much bigger than a king size mattress leaving a sizeable gap all the way around the bed. Particularly at the bottom - so big you can’t on the edge of the bed. Took around 4 hours to assemble.

King size bed I bought couple of week ago, its looks nice but the size is over king, when you put the matters there will be a big gap(mor than 5cm) on each side which is really not good look. also need more support on head side

I put this together on my own, although it took a while I found the instructions easy to follow. The result is a very sturdy comfortable bed, with fantastic storage and it looks lovely.

Birlea ottoman bed
I bought this a month ago and still waiting for replacement parts to ones that were damaged when putting bed together. The lift up handle is quite close to the footboard and so always catching knuckles on it, which is annoying. Argos not interested, just gave me the suppliers details and told to contact them Expensive for what it is !

No, you would need to assemble the headboard. It comes as a main panel, which is already built, but you’d need to fix the side posts, the top rail, and bottom rail to it.

The headboard is built but the bed comes in numerous tiny parts. In all honesty, the delivery and building of this bed was a nightmare

The small double is slightly smaller.
