Fabulous bed
Great quality and easy to put together with two people. Easy to use when lifting up but at first it feels stuck up but it’s just the first couple of weeks times lifting the bed up. Make sure you are central at the end of the bed and push down firmly. You get used to it and it’s great.

Lovely bed
I ordered the bed along with the mattress, which turned up within a week of ordering. However the bed was given a delivery within 14 days. This was not the case and due to lack of correspondence I had to contact Argos- who were amazing! To chase. The bed was delivered 4 days later. Upon delivery 2 out the 4 boxes were damaged. Luckily no damage to the bed, which was amazing considering the damage to the boxes. The instructions aren’t the easiest to follow, however, there is a YouTube video to help too. Other reviews stated it took 2 hours to put up, took us at least 4 hours with 2 adults putting it together. Yes we had one mishap putting the metal frame part together but that was our only mistake. We have had problems with the hydraulic parts, couldn’t get the bed to close, for now we have removed those parts to re-investigate next weekend. After 4 hours we had lost the Will to continue. We ordered the small double in grey, it’s a beautiful bed. It’s made well and feels very sturdy, it’s a bit like a maccarno set there are a lot of nuts and bolts, for me this makes it a very sturdy bed and strong. I’m disappointed with the finish of the colour, it’s a beautifully grey, however, on the headboard there are parts which aren’t finished off properly and can see white paint if you look carefully. You also need a lot of space to build the bed.

I bought this item with the Hope that it has a storage as described but unfortunately the company has discontinued the base board to store items under the bed. It's not fit for purpose. I had to return it but still has not received my refund after over 2 weeks of collection.

This product is a combined construction of Rubberwood & MDF. The best product to varnish MDF or rubberwood is a polyurethane or lacquer-based sealer. However, please be aware that any amendments to the product will void your guarantee.

Hello Maz, the length of a normal small double bed is approximately 190cm. This bed is an ottoman style and our suppliers have advised that the measurement of 210cm is correct.

This bed is 130cm not 120cm which as caused a problem Argos not bothered
