About this product
One of the highest quality finishes in the range, the Phoenix wooden Ottoman bed provides both class and practicality, with an opening base that provides plenty of storage. Constructed from solid rubberwood, the oak option has MDF veneered side rails whereas the white option features MDF Melamine side rails. This frame has a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted to provide greater comfort.
The gas piston strength on this frame is 588 N. The maximum weight load for the Phoenix Ottoman frame is 350 kg and can support mattresses up to the weight of 45 kg. Please note the mattress needs to be on the bed for the pistons to work. Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 203 mm. Storage space dimensions: Headboard to centre divide - 119cm Footboard to centre divide - 74cm.

This bed is awesome I had a problem with a small crack on base of bed on del .We only noticed when building bed got in touch with Birlea .They were absolutely fantastic I had another delivered the next day I cannot fault aftersales I did not have to strip bed and they sent me the appropriate piece and who I dealt with was courteous and polite . The bed itself has enormous storage it took my 4 draws from previous bed I now looking for stuff to put in it fantastic

But it’s way wider than the king size mattress that I purchased at the same time, so you can see down the sides into the storage. Otherwise it’s ok.
