Working well
I bought this in order to get my broadband hub moved for full fibre installation, rather than get an electrician in to move a double socket (the original engineer said my double socket was too far away for him to install the box). This has done the trick and I will eventually get a permanent double socket put in the correct place. It's been working well for a few days now.

I bought this extension lead to go behind some units, I would have to take the plug off. You are advertising a removable plug when it was molded on and cannot be removed, change the pictures and put the proper advert on.

NOTHING TO FAULT IT!
I was surprised at how difficult it was to obtain an extension lead for a specific length and with more than one socket at a reasonable price - and the qucker the better. (This was basically due to a microwave that I had bought had to be positioned in a place that was not near any sockets, and so it couldn't be used until I could connect it.) At Argos, they had the exact 5m extension lead, and with 2 sockets at the end, and of course, being Argos, I didn't have to wait long to collect it. There's not much more that I can say about it, being an extension lead, but it fits the purpose, looks fine and beats the "popular online retailers" hands down.

Hi i got this 2 way extention lead to reach my tv unit as the plug wouldnt reach the plug socket and this lets it reach perfectly and still as extra cable aswell and all wires are not visible and out of the way great product

We just bought one as we thought it was rewireable as the photo shows screws on the plug but when we got it home, it is a moulded plug.

Masterplug 2 Socket 5 Metre Extension Lead:
This depends on the plug fuse of the fan and whether the manual of your fan confirms it it safe to use with an extension lead. Most fan heaters do not recommend the use of an extension lead as this can be dangerous. This is suitable to use with 13A fused plug.

The supplier has advised the following for the Masterplug 2 Socket 5 Metre Extension Lead:
"The extension is rated fully unwound at 3120 watts, some tumble dryers do get close to this but not exceed it, as long as nothing else is plugged in it will be fine." They add that adding additional devices/appliances could exceed the 3120W and overload it.
(However, on balance, we'd still advise strongly against using it with your appliance, especially as there is a risk that another appliance could be plugged in in error. Also, without knowing the brand, model, and specs of your tumble dryer we cannot confirm how close it may be to the limits of this lead or if this may exceed it.
Please also check your appliance's user manual for confirmation as, having checked a number of brands and models, they tend to say that their appliance is not suitable for plugging into any extension cord and that it should be plugged into the mains socket only. In all cases, we'd advise to stick to the appliance's own advice).
