Just the job
Have had this for a while now. Does just what I wanted it to do - easy to use with one hand and fits easily in my pocket. Takes great images which are simple to transfer to your phone or tablet. Reliable and robust.

Had to return as faulty. The adapter to join to phone would come away, could not complete set up on the app as you need another piece of equipment to set up wifi so you could view on phone! Instructions are a waste of time! Dont part with your money!

Great camera but poor performance
This is a great camera, light and easy to carry around. The problem is the design which seems to have always a gimbal issue. It is always reporting the camera as stuck which ruins recording, over heats a lot. I thought it was a product fault but online reviews state its a problem. If you do get some recordings or a none faulty product its a great item

How It Works with Phones
The DJI Pocket 2 connects to your phone via the DJI Mimo app.
You can use your phone as a live view monitor, control the gimbal, and access advanced settings.
It connects either:
Directly via USB-C or Lightning adapter (included in the box)
Wirelessly if you have the Do-It-All Handle (part of the Creator Combo)
Phone Compatibility
Your phone must be compatible with the DJI Mimo app.
iPhones running iOS 14 or later and Android phones with Android 8.0 or later are generally supported.
Note: Not all phones are fully compatible. Some may not support activation or live view.

I can advise the following for the DJI Pocket 2 Gimbal Camera:
The use of a phone isn't required and you can use this as a stand alone device and connect it to a computer or take out the storage media and use this in a reader. DJI apps on Android are side loaded onto the phone from their site and not the Play store.

Having checked the instructions, there is no internal memory. The camera requires a microSD card (not provided). A UHS-I Speed Grade 3 rating microSD card is required due to the fast read and write speeds necessary for high-resolution video data.
