Didn't work straight from the box.
I was suspicious when I open the box to find the batteries half in their compartment with the battery cover loose in the box. I was able to set up 2 different users as oer the instructions, but when the scales were stood on, they didn't show any reading. Changing the batteries didn't help so the scales were returned within the hour.

bought these to replace bathroom scales we thought were malfunctioning. Hard to get used to but after persevering a few days now used every day.

would be good if it worked
I was very disappointed really, was looking forward to finding out my body mass because I have too much fat on my stomach, unfortunately it only worked for a few seconds out of about 60 attempts so I had to return it, display is very poorly designed I could not see the display that well without bending down to read it, it was so faint it's a very very poorly designed body fat scale.. not worth the money if it doesn't work it was definitely faulty..

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Salter Dashboard Wide Body Analyser Bathroom Scales - Silver: This scale stores the personal data of up to 12 users. As well as being an analyser scale, this scale can be used as a conventional scale. You can select your user to weigh yourself but this only shows when stood on the scale.

Other people could look at it, but you have to switch user. No passwords are on it though
Well I bought them on the basis of this answer, but when I checked with Salter today they said they dont measure bone mass.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know No the Salter Dashboard Analyser scale does not feature a backlight but the scale does features a super wide, bold LCD display that is easy to read in normal lighting conditions.

Yes. However, only the weight display is big enough for me to see without my specs.

After checking with out supplier, they have advised: The condition of your skin on the bottom of your feet can affect the reading. To get the most accurate and consistent reading, wipe your feet with a damp cloth, leaving them slightly moist before stepping on the scale. Position feet on the metal strips.
