The Hoover HBWS 49D1ACE comes packed with programs to make washing your clothes effortless. Perfect for a medium household, this machine comes with a 9kg load capacity and a 1400 spin speed. There are 16 wash cycles to choose from, including a 14-minute quick wash. Variable spin and temperature settings allow you to adjust the spin speed and temperature on all cycles to suit the load. This machine also comes with the option to delay the cycle start time for up to 24 hours.
This Hoover washing machine comes with a Hygiene cycle. This programme washes at 60C, clearing any bacteria or dirt from your clothing. The additional use of water ensures a full and thorough clean. And with Hoover's All in One technology, you can wash different fabrics and colours together on a quick wash or low temperature wash, without the worry of the colours running!
Choose the most suitable programme for your wash and the KG detector will adjust the amount of water and lathering based on your wash load and type of fabric selected, so you always get the best, most efficient wash. With our machines, a half-load can require up to 70% less water, time and electricity!
This machine is designed to be built in, so will fit seamlessly into any kitchen setting.

Very noisy
Bought less than a month ago, already had the engineer out due to the excessive noise from the machine. Waiting for a new motor to be fitted. Purchased through Argos, no pick up of the old machine.

It was broken within 6 months.
Nice and easy to use. However it was broken within 6 months. Half the washing machine was replaced over 3 visits. This left us without a wash for 3 weeks through Dec including Christmas. It is currently working but for how long who knows? when it works it’s fine and easy to use.

A nice looking machine
Great machine that has 3 quick washes, 14, 33, 44 minutes. This machine also counts down time remaining, which I do like. Really pleased with this washing machine. It is cutting down in my time spent doing laundry and money spent on electricity.

Everything works - no problems.
The machine does everything it is asked to do. The 1400 spin is very good at squeezing out more water - so some items are virtually dry. The drum is large, but don't make the mistake of over-filling. The spin can become unbalanced and delay spinning whilst it tries to adjust and centralise the load. My only criticism rests in the fact that not only this machine, but most machines these days do not have a hot-water inlet - so instead of using our eco-friendly domestic hot water supply, we have to use cold water and the washing machine consumes electricity to heat it up! Unfortunately, most washing machines these days are of the same design - hardly good for the environment and energy consumption. Older washing machines used to have hot and cold water inlets - why have we gone backwards - presumably cheaper for the manufacturers perhaps?

Large capacity
First impressions after nearly a month of use is that this seems to be a decent washing machine which seems to have a lot of options (which mostly won’t get used if I’m honest). The most important thing for me and the main reason I’ve bought it is the load capacity. We are a family of four and our previous washer was 7kg and this is 9kg and I can really tell the difference. The ability to fit a larger load in makes our lives so much easier. We use it on the general ’all in one 59’ setting and it seems to do a decent job. So far so good and it also looks the part as well.

There is a template supplied with the Hoover HBWS 49D1ACE 9KG Integrated Washing Machine - White which can be used to position and drill the holes in the intrgrated door. If the door has been used before then these should line up with those in the washing machine. Fine adjustments can be made if required by raising or lowering the adjustable feet on the machine.

We suggest mounting the furniture door so that it opens towards the left, which is the same direction as the porthole door. This will leave more space when you are loading washing into the appliance.
