I wasnt sure what hotel quality meant but it is a very good duvet. A lot lighter than the feather one we had and much warmer. My wife and I both feel we are sleeping better under this duvet.

I received satin stripe one
The packaging comes in a zipped bag, no security seal, so you can have look and view it at the till before you buy.
I wasnt happy that it didnt have any security tags, so I refunded mine as soon as I collected it because of this
